The Airfield Beefarm near Berlin
I love to be on airfields like this.
The runway is of grass and long, the swallows fly into the hangars where they built their nests, the landscape is flat and the lark twitters in the endless sky.
Ich bin gerne auf Flugplätzen wie diesem westlich von Berlin.
Die Landebahn ist aus Gras und lang, die Schwalben fliegen in die Hangars, wo sie ihre Nester gebaut haben, das Land ist platt und die Lerche zwitschert im endlosen Himmel.
